Prior to joining Boris Benic and Associates, Kim Walters spent 6 years at a “Big Four” accounting firm specializing in audits of US GAAP and IFRS financial statements and employee benefit plans.
She is a detail oriented problem solver and Hofstra University graduate with a Master’s degree in Accounting.
Before she began her public accounting career, Kim learned the aspects of small business working for a privately owned printing company and selling insurance at local agencies while attending college.
Kim and her husband live on Eastern Long Island with their dogs, and enjoy fishing, camping, and dog training.

Yasar Bokhari, CPA and Tax Director, has extensive experience in providing federal, state, local and international tax consulting, compliance and planning services to individuals and midsize businesses. Yasar has provided tax and advisory services to investment partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate investment partnerships and to individuals for over 11 years. His clientele crosses over a wide variety of industry sectors including media and entertainment, real estate development and investment, manufacturing, professional services, investment banking, asset management, software development and marketing.
Prior to joining Boris Benic and Associates LLP, Yasar was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Yasar earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Queens College. He is a member of the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
